We had a really eventful October! And it was even more exciting because Chris' parents came to visit us. While they were here we had two dinner parties, visited Chicago, went to a Pumpkin farm/petting zoo, carved pumpkins, attended Grant's preschool program, and trick or treated.
Grant's program was really cute! The kids put on a costume parade and sang different spooky songs for family.
Maddie and Grant really love their Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and looked forward to their visit for literally weeks.
Dash and Maddie the lion. This Halloween Grant avoided a broken leg, so he was able to show us how fast Dash runs.
The pumpkin farm had a lot of inflatable slides. The kids could have spent all day on the slides.
We had a spooky dinner party on Saturday (that I managed not to get any pictures of) and then on Sunday we had a birthday party for Madelynn. I made a Ducky Bathtub cake for her. Kathy was awesome and made the bubbles, soap, and faucet/handles for the cake! It turned out pretty cute and Maddie loved it!
Madelynn was extremely excited for her party. She requested owls and party hats.

Madelynn is super sweet with a little sass. The best way to describe Maddie is "Silly".Some of Maddie's favorite things: playing "night, night games"; pretending that she's a mommy; pretending that she's a new baby; roaring like a lion; painting, coloring, Grant, dogs, Word World, putting Tupperware on her head and act like a cowgirl; rummaging through drawers, reading books; nursery; singing; loves Mac n cheese, bananas, and getting treats.
