Congratulations Chris!

Chris graduated from Law School on Saturday (May 16, 2009)!! I can't believe he's done! He worked hard and I am so proud of him! Great job sweetie I love you and look forward to our future adventures after school!

We had a great start to our weekend because Chris' parents, Craig and Kathy, flew down from Seattle to celebrate with us.

I wish I could say that Grant is admiring the graduation gown, but I think it might actually be the balloon?

It was a lot of fun going to Chris' graduation ceremony! Chris was inducted as a member of the Order of the Coif (t0p 10% of the class) so he got to wear a little white, felt "donut"- as we called it- on the top of his cap. So if you look closely, you can see Chris is on the very first row, with the first white Order of the Coif distinction on his cap (from left to right).

The night before graduation, the Law School had an open house, which we attended. During the open house our county was in the middle of a really bad thunderstorm. It rained so heavily that many of the roads were flooded, which made getting home tricky. Our normal 15 min drive from the law school to home took about 1 hour. It is difficult to see in the picture, but on the left there is a car floating in the standing water. We were grateful we got home safely that night.

Every Post Seems like a Major Catch-Up

Yes, it has been another month since our last posting. But at least it hasn't been a year :). We have been busy with the normal stuff: Chris finishing up his last semester (1 more day of school and 1 final left!); me with work and Grant; and Grant with everything he can get his hands on.
We are also getting ready for our move to Seattle at the end of May.

We're excited to move because we found a great rental house and are looking forward to having a fenced off yard!

Coloring can be painful. He's not really sad or hurt- he just likes to be dramatic.

Isn't he cute and so grown up looking? Where did my baby go?

This is the face he made when I asked him to "Smile!".

Grant loves to wear these cheap-o sunglasses (25 cents at Hobby Lobby). Many times I'll find him wearing them and carrying on with his play as normal.

Yummy, brownie batter!

Twins!

And lastly, I always find Grant trying to put on Chris' shirts. I love my funny boys!
