This is a picture from the selling brochure. This room wasn't terrible, we just wanted to give it more personality to match Grant.

The room was painted a very pale blue so we livened it up with the darker blue on the bottom and then added the same blue just two shades lighter on the top. We replaced the carpet, base board, and casing for windows and doors. We also added chair rail to divide the blues. We also had to replace all of the outlets switches, outlet plates, light switches and light switches to white because everything was in a beige. I didn't take a pic of the door- but it was stained a dark brown and so I sanded it and painted it white and then replaced the gold colored door knob with a brushed nickel. Grant loves his room!

Holy Cow! I haven't read your blog in months (I haven't read ANYONE's blog in months, I barely post on my own, dang it!) BUT WOW! Congrats on EVERYTHING! You guys are seriously incredible and I love and miss you so much! Yay for the new baby girl! Yay for the gorgeous new house! Your children are SO CUTE and smart and sweet and everything! Wow. I am so happy for you! You're in Illinois, right? Oh how I miss my soul sista!
