Kid-isms

In this season of gratitude, one of the things I am most thankful for is my family.  I feel the most peace in my life when I see my kids being kind to each other and playing quietly.  I have found that there is nothing better than peace in the home.

So to pay tribute to my family, I wanted to share some of their ridiculous and cute moments with Kid-isms

1.) Grant:  I don't want anything for my birthday at all.  I don't want presents, cakes, a party, friends- nothing.  I just want meat!

2.) KaraLee- Grant why are you chewing your food for so long, please just swallow.
Grant- But, I'm trying to destroy it.

3.) Zoie was crying and I said that she needed to take a nap.  Madelynn very sweetly looks at me and says, "Don't worry Mom, I can put her down for a nap."

4.) Grant had blankets wrapped around him.
KaraLee:  Grant you look like a Mummy.
Grant: No I don't. I don't even have wrappers.

5.) I put my arms around Madelynn and said I loved her.  She looked up at me and said "I love you too seatbelt."

6.) Madelynn said mom listen to the song I made up.  "Primary is good. But Nursery is better." (She is currently in a nursery class at church, but moving up to Primary in January.)
