We are happy to be back in Champaign. Chris finished up his first week of school! Yeah, only a whole bunch more to go! We didn't have anything booked this weekend, so we decided to pick some apples at a local orchard. We picked a bag of apples (Ginger Gold) so I made Apple Crisp and it turned out pretty good.
As soon as Grant saw the apples he said "Ball". Good job Grant.

Your little boy is really cute. I think it is great that he was not too scared of the goats to feed them.
Awww. After a hot, humid summer, I love a good fall day (I might vote for spring in about six months).

The apple crisp was quite good and as always, I love Grant's shirt! It's more appropriate now because he does so many stunts.
Aw... apple (I mean ball) picking is one of my very favorite memories of my Illinois childhood! KaraLee, it makes me smile to read your funny little captions because I can just hear you saying them in my head! :) I miss you tons!
