Kid Pics from May

I love my creative kids.  Sometimes I have a hard time getting them out the door because they are so interested in their Lego creations.  Below they built a barn surrounded by an in ground swimming pool with picnic benches for all of the neighbors.  There is even a life guard on duty.

Zoie at 3 months- she is such a long baby.  She is wearing 6 month clothing now.

 Just being cute

Falling in love with her daddy

Today Zoie is 4 months old.  I'll post a separate 4 month post when she is in a more smiley mood.

I wonder who took this picture

At Grant's preschool, they celebrate the end of the year with a Duckling Dash.  The kids prepare for weeks for this run.  I'm not sure how far they had to run, but there was a start and a finish line that went around the parking lot.  I don't think it is intended to be a competitive race, but the kids can't help it.  Grant finished 2nd. He probably could have come in first, but he was he was enjoying the race so much he laughing the entire time.

This is Grant's preschool class. They all received medals for running and the kids advancing to Kindergarten received diplomas.  I can't believe my little boy is going to kindergarten in the fall.

kid- isms

Grant and Madelynn were waiting in front of me with their hands open, hoping for some dried fruit.  They were pretty whiney and demanding so I just waited and waited for some polite words.  Finally, I said, "I'm waiting for the magic word."  So Maddie says, "Abracadabra poof!"  Cute, but not exactly what I was looking for.

Random Kid pics and Potty Trained!

We love Zoie's hair.  The top pic shows her pre-bath hair and the bottom pic shows her clean hair that fluffed back up.

She is so sweet right before bed, just likes to snuggle.

I'm really late in posting this, but little M is potty trained!  She did it and we are so proud of her!  We had tried to potty train earlier, but she has an iron will and wouldn't have anything to do with potty training.  But we tried again about 6 weeks ago when Maddie handed a diaper full of poop to her nursery leader.  I realized at that time that she was definitely ready and the next day we started Cold Turkey.  No diapers and lots to drink and lots of lollipop rewards.  She cooperated beautifully and within the week she got it.  Below she is showing us how she can sit on her little potty.  Great job Maddie!

Somebody zonked out during a trip to Target.

We play a game to help the kids get ready for bed.  Each night the kids pretend to be a different animal and they move up the stairs like that animal.  Below they are moving up the stairs like snakes. Needless to say it took a long time to get up the stairs.

Lately these two have been such good friends.  I hope it lasts.

3 Smaller Versions of Chris

I really think our kids look just like Chris, but only as "grown-up" Chris. Sometimes I think I am just a clone maker. It's OK though because I think Chris is cute. One of Chris' law school friends pointed out that maybe the kids don't look like Chris, but that Chris just looks like a baby. Either way they all came from the same tree.

Below are pics of Grant, Maddie, and Zoie when they are all 1 day old.
