3 Smaller Versions of Chris

I really think our kids look just like Chris, but only as "grown-up" Chris. Sometimes I think I am just a clone maker. It's OK though because I think Chris is cute. One of Chris' law school friends pointed out that maybe the kids don't look like Chris, but that Chris just looks like a baby. Either way they all came from the same tree.

Below are pics of Grant, Maddie, and Zoie when they are all 1 day old.

A Little Message From Your Kiddos

Grant said he loves his dad, "because he is funny and he tickles me."
Maddie said she loves her daddy, "because he is a present."

Chris you are my best friend and I love you so, so much! I hope you know how much we appreciate you and love you! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Picture Overload of our Cuties!

I finally pulled the photos off of Chris' phone so the pics below are not really in time order.

My sad little friend.

Zoie at 7 weeks

My mom came to help me when Zoie was born. Above Zoie is 4 days old.

Zoie at 7 weeks old. She looks so much like Grant did as a baby.

Grant at the Children's museum- he is dressed up as a train conductor.

Grant and Maddie start posing when they see us pull the camera out for Zoie.

Chris' parents came out to visit for Zoie's baby blessing so we took them to the children's museum.

I had to take a picture with my baby so she would know I existed during the first few months of her life. I usually don't let Chris take pics because I usually look like I just rolled out of bed.

Maddie still wants to be the baby.

This little St. Patty girl wasn't feeling very happy or lucky.

We love her Mohawk, I hope her dark hair doesn't fall out.

A Little Bag of Sugar

Zoie is now 1 month old and weighs about the same as a bag of sugar. She had her check up yesterday and weighed 10lbs6 oz (75%), her length was 23 3/4 inches (90%)- and her head 50%. She is on the same growth track as baby Grant so I expect her to be a little chubba wubba too. She is healthy and sleeping more at night. She was born nocturnal. So our next goal is to help her sleep in longer stretches at night, but for now I'm just glad she isn't wide awake between 1-4am like she was 5 days ago.

Chris took 4 weeks paternity leave to help out with baby Zoie. Today is his first day back at work and I'm already missing him! He was amazing and I was so glad that he was able to stay home with us. Since Zoie was wide awake at night, I was awake at night, so Chris would get up with the kids and I could sleep in. He took the kids out to play and ran errands so I could rest. He did many loads of laundry and dishes to keep the house clean. Plus he started refinishing our kitchen, which is looking amazing! I'll upload pics when its complete. I am really grateful for my wonderful husband! I love you Chris and Thank You for everything!

Now for some cutie pics!
